Château Siran er et Cru Bourgeois-klassificeret slot beliggende i den sydlige del af Margaux. Her ejer slottet ca. 25 ha på en jordbund af grus og småsten.

Siran har en lidt omtumlet historie bag sig, men siden årtusindeskiftet har kvaliteten på vinene taget et gevaldigt kvantespring i den rigtige retning. Dette især pga. Brigitte Miailhe, der i samråd med den kendte vinkonsulent Michel Rolland har moderniseret faciliteterne og indført en langt grovere sortering af druerne.

Al høst og sortering sker med håndkraft og lagringen sker i ca. 12 måneder på barrique, hvor af ca. en 1/3 er nye.

"Concentrated, juicy and lifted - this really combines ripe summer berry fruit with a menthol lift and fine, grippy tannins to give a wide mouthfeel with persistence. It's not at all plush, definitely more streamlined at this point with focus and drive. Feels well worked, finessed but still with lots of flavour and polish, ending slightly salty with a liquorice tang. Detailed and easy to like."
